The Triple R

Not to be confused with the radio station in Melbourne, The Triple R is the newest ridiculous thing to happen at Camp.

The Renegade Renegade Room, RRR or Triple R is like the Renegade Room, but instead of having gear supplied and needing to book through me at the event, there is simply a big sheet outside the Merch Room and you write in your name when you want to do something.

All that is supplied in the room is a power point and a budget stereo with an RCA input (i will supply a minjack cable but no doubt it will go missing, so good idea to bring your own if you want to DJ). No PA, no backline. You can organise a party and DJ on ipod/laptop, you can play acoustically or if you’ve bought other gear with you, do whatever…. it doesn’t even have to be musical, you can just arrange for a (insert something kinda cool here)

The Triple R is the raddest space at Camp, perhaps from all the Camps. It was the plain old Renegade Room at Camp 2009 – the little room on top of the hill. A choice space, but a bit of a pain to get too, so yeah, don’t expect anybody to actually come to your one-man-day-disco.

You can book slots of 30 mins. You can book two in a row if available for those epic raves. Space is available from 9am-11pm daily. (After 11pm I put on some parties there)

You can only book at camp. Book yourself. Do whatever you want. You can make posters up as per usual and put around Camp, or if you write a description of what you’re doing, people can just check it out on the wall outside Merch Room.
