THE ROCKQUEST
ALL Pre-bookings are BOOKED OUT. I will take more bookings for the Rockquest at the event, but no more pre-bookings.
Becoming more and more damaging to my ego, the Renegade Room is pretty much the raddest space at CALH. In 2010, at Campus ALH The famous Renegade Room from Camp A Low Hum takes on a slightly new form, befitting its new scholastic home.
The Rockquest
If you didn’t get picked to go on my precious “Official” lineup, play at CALH anyway. Whereas at Camp A Low Hum 2009 the Renegade Room was a pain in the ass to get to, in 2010 The Rockquest is right darn handy and is still the best place to hangout at the whole event.
Backline is provided. 1x bass amp, 1x guitar amp, 1x guitar or keyboard amp, 1x drumkit (no snare), mics and stands.
Bring ANYTHING else that you need
In true Rockquest fashion there will be some fantastic prizes on offer. The Best Band Eva of the weekend voted by people at Camp will recieve a wonderful package guaranteed to launch their career in the industry featuring:
-A HUGE $20 gift certificate from The Rockshop.
-Half a dozen beer to give to someone to make a flash music video for you (courtesy on NZOnBeer)
-I’ll take a photo of your band on my 2 megapixel cellphone (If the battery is charged)
-You’ll receive 1 guaranteed spin of your latest single on VBC and Fleet Fm. (Thats 2 plays total – and at least .08c from Apra)
