Due to the overwhelming number of people who have expressed dire desperation to get a ticket to camp, I have tried to come up with a solution.
There is one thing that I am able to do, but unfortunately it will only really help those in Wellington or nearby.
I’m afraid getting entry to Camp on the first day will ONLY be for current ticket holders. However, once I’ve had a chance to gauge how the infrastructure is handling the current amount of people, and that everybody is comfortable, queues are at a minimum and everything is hunky dory, then on Sat morning at 8am I will announce on www.campalowhum.com (if avail) weekend tickets for the Saturday and Sunday. These will go on sale Saturday morning for $150, and avail until sold out.
I’m sorry, at this stage, that is all I can offer. I cannot guarantee that any tickets will be made available, but it is certainly very possible.
So, in Brief… Make sure you check www.campalowhum.com at 8am on Sat 7th of Feb to find details of if two day tickets will be available, and if so, where from.
To those who are too far from Wellington to be able to take advantage of this short notice, I’m very sorry
